Fashion Junkie

"I think the idea of mixing luxury and mass market fashion is very modern - wearing head-to-toe designer has become a bit passe. It's a new era in fashion - there are no rules. It's all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels and up-and-coming designers all together." Alexander McQueen.

I am amazed by street fashion as well, the way people dress in the streest and what people dare to wear. Here you can see photos of people that is rocking the streets, Real Life Fashion.

Treasures From Around The World

All winter long I have been trying to find something cozy, warm, fashionable and not expensive, FUR FUR FUR!!!. How to get not expensive fur? Everywhere I went it was or too expensive, too ugly or too fake looking. Well I must say that I came to realize that to find unique beautiful things was necessary find it in the most not ordinary places, so here is the fabulous things that I found ( or my Bee found for me in one of his trips around the world):

1.- FUR COLLAR  (ICELAND)
Reykjavik was the home of this amazing piece. A beautiful mix of wine, cinammon and black in a delicate soft fluffy Raccoon fur.Perfect for going out for dinner (jeans-t shirt kinda day, or dress up with a funky bow tie or a nice evening dress)

2.- FUR COAT (VINTAGE VANCOUVER)
$39.00 CAD for Rabbit Coat, soooooooooo freaking good. My first vintage experience filled me with joy, I have  never been in this kind of stores before and I have to admit that it was very interesting, among other things that I ended up buying , I left the store with this coat, 3/4 sleeves , shades of grays , beiges, whites and vanilla makes the perfect combination for this below the belt coat.

3.- COWBOY BOOTS ( MEXICO)
No words, they are just beautiful. Navy and baby blue with a pointed front. Gorgeous.

4.- CAPE (MEXICO)
Handmade northern traditional mexican cape (just for the record you dont see people wearing this kind of things in a daily basis in Mexico, its is part of its history and tradition). Do I dare to wear it? Absolutely. This Harry Potter meets Maleficent meets mariachi cape is the perfect piece to make a huge statement anywhere.

5.-MUSHROOM CAPE (NEW ZEALAND)
Wellington's funky stores, unique fashion and diversity gave me the pleasure to obtain a very different cape, the Mushroom cape as I named it. This short sleeve, short, polyester gray cape its a Wearable Art piece, its uniqueness is extreme, made of satin looking polyester lining and soft sort of fury exterior with flying mushrooms all across the front and on the hood. Exquisite.
